Ghost of Christmas Past?!

Last Sunday we were all hanging around chit-chatting with Mom and Dad when this little "ghost" came out into the living room!

Molly was COVERED in baby powder.
I think Ava helped her a bit - she didn't have nearly as much on her!
It was so funny!

Merry Christmas!

Catching Up!

This is what happens when a Daddy tears the tabs off of a diaper and doesn't feel like getting a new one ( I tried to explain to him they are about 25 cents apiece . . . . )

Things have been good lately! Jamon took his last final today! Hooray!!!! So excited to have him home for a few weeks!

Molly is being a busy little girl ( and a mountain goat - she climbs up EVERYTHING she can) She is learning new words and it always surprises me when she says something new! She loves to "read" books and color! She even sings with us at church! What a cutie pie!

I haven't been doing much - besides baby makin! :) I can't believe how fast the pregnancy has gone by! Our new little guy will be here either Jan 29 or Feb1 depending on the doctor's schedule! Molly likes to come and give my belly kisses! Although she likes to kiss everyone elses belly's too! Even tried to kiss her own one time! That didn't work out so well! She wants to sleep with a couple of the little onesies! She carries them around all day saying "Baby Baby!" She will be a great big sister!!!

Hopefully Christmas-y pictures soon!

Tornado!

WHEW! It has been a very eventful two weeks!
We went to the corn maize, halloween, and went to the fair!
AND of course the tornado on the 29th!

Mom, Ava, Molly, and I had driven to Longview to pick up my Nana and bring her back to visit. Dad told us there was going to be some bad weather and to drive careful - no big deal right?!
When we got to Marshall there was a LOT of rain (going about 45 on i-20) but then it let up!
Jamon calls and asks if we want him to start making dinner (of course!) and then calls back about 10 minutes later "Holy Crap Meaghan, something has happened!" :) It takes us about an hour and a half to get from the Red River Bridge to our house (maybe 5 miles) It was crazy in our neighborhood! The police told Jamon and Dad to turn around - that they couldn't get to our house (they did get there tho) and we had to explain that we HAD to drive on Brownlee Road to get to our house! Did I say Heather slept through the whole thing?!?!

Anyways - it was crazy! We lost 7 trees - one really big pecan tree that thankfully fell away from the house. Two trees hit our little house - one pine tree right through the roof. Mom and Dad had a little flooding in two side rooms that are about 6 inches lower than the rest of the house. There is a lot of roof damage on both houses. The columns on the front of the houses are moved one way or the other! The boat's windshield was broken. The big pecan tree fell on our trampoline :(

The "coolest" damage that I saw was our neighbor has an RV parked in his front yard - after the tornado it was on it's side - in the backyard! (and it hit the roof of his neighbor on the way!)

I am just really happy that it wasn't worse - we got off very lucky that no one was hurt (I don't think anyone in the city was actually!) and that we can still live in our home!

It won't let me load pictures right now :( but I will get some on here sometime soon!

Fall Break

This past weekend Jamon had Thursday and Friday off for "Fall Break" (why LSUS can't save those days and give him a whole week off for Thanksgiving?! Who knows?!) so we decided to go spend a couple of days out at his Mom's house.
While Jamon spent the days working - Molly and I just played around!

Molly enjoyed chasing the chickens and duck around the chicken house! They weren't her biggest fans though!
Jamon working on his mom's house! He is such a great handy man to have around! <3

This is Mocha - and Molly could not get enough lovin from her all weekend!
We walked outside and Molly was hanging on Mocha's neck! Its a good thing Mocha is such a good dog - otherwise we would have had a sad little girl! Thankfully,Mocha loved all the attention and I think a beautiful friendship was born!

Molly on Grandma's porch!

We had a good time - and I know Molly misses Mocha - so hopefully we can go back again soon!

Daddy's Girl

Recently Molly has turned 100% into a Daddy's Girl! She doesn't want to leave Jamon's side from the moment he gets home from school(!!!!!!) Which I really don't mind one bit! It's pretty cute actually!!!

Jamon is ALWAYS walking around blowing out my candles as soon as I light them and of course I go right back and light them all again! Apparently it is genetic, because Molly now blows at the candles whenever she sees them! Now don't worry - she can't actually get to any of them - I arranged this so I could try to get a pic of her "blowing" out the candle!

Giving Jamon kisses one evening out in the yard!

"Helping" Jamon take notes during conference! And yes - Molly is naked most of the time! But who really needs clothes anyways?! She wears them when it counts! :)

Rainy Day Fun

What else is there to do when it has been raining for days and days?

Put on your "Merrimac" Boots and go outside and splash of course!

Finally Fall!

So much has been happening the past few months! I really am going to try to be better about blogging! I love reading others' blogs (And of course hope you like reading this!!!)

Jamon is up to his eyeballs in school work and med school applications! A few are due in the coming weeks and as nerve racking as this whole process is - I will be very happy when they are all sent off and out of our hands! He has been working so hard! I am so proud of him!

I am officially a stay-at-home mom again! The office I had been working for needed someone who could work 5 days a week (not me!) and so here I am! I will still be temping as needed - and who knows! Maybe there is a dentist out there who wants a preggers hygienist!! :) I am about 21 weeks along and feeling great! Thank goodness! We found out this little one is going to be a boy! Jamon swears he knew the whole time but I saw his eyes light up when the ultrasound tech "confirmed" what he "already knew"! They also moved my due date up to Feb 6 2010. And I have a smidge of placenta previa - so another c - section here I come! But I am a-okay with that! :)

And I don't even know where to start with Molly! She is now a busy little 15 month old! She insists on putting on perfume/cologne, deodorant, brushing her teeth or hair, and pretty much anything else when she sees Jamon and I doing it! She has learned to climb :( Ha ha and so we have taken baby-proofing to a new level! Any stuffed animal she can squeeze and hug makes her very happy!!! She also LOVES dancing! We can turn on the radio anytime and she gets her groove on! And thanks to WONDERFUL nursery leaders she has snuck into nursery a little ahead of schedule! Jamon and I are both in Primary - so they offered to take her in and she loves it! Not one tear yet! She is so finished with us by the time sacrament meeting is over! Sometimes she uses a spoon to eat - with some success! She has also started throwing her little temper tantrums - stomping (okay it looks like river dancing) and turning in a circle! I have to have some major self control to not laugh at her! She likes to bring Jamon his shoes when we are getting ready to go somewhere! The slides at the park are one of her favorite places to visit - and I will be very sad when the splash park closes! Okay - that is probably enough for now!

I am going to do my best to update every week! Wish me luck!

Keepin On Keepin On

First this is the HUGE-MUNGO tree we helped take down at the Day of Service - seriously it was crazy big! We didn't even get it all finished! We did 5 or 6 trees that morning but this is by far the biggest! We were so tired and covered in poison ivy!

An impromptu family pic in the backyard!
Molly started crawling about a month ago - and actually is getting geared up for walking! We are going to have to keep our running shoes on she is so mischieveous! Her favorite activities included taking all the dvd's out of the shelf, pushing the buttons on Pop's surround sound, punching the laptop keyboard, and finding anything else she can put her hands on and (of course) pop into her mouth! It's a miracle we haven't had to use the Hiemlich yet!

So this is our new puppy Bentley! She is a Lab/Boxer mix and SO CUTE!

As kind of a last minute idea - some of us decided to get together and do the Relay for Life! We had a blast and I think we'll do it again next year! We had an 8o's theme - looked a little like goobers because no one else dressed up - but it was great anyways!!!

Otherwise - I now have a permanent job in Center, TX - which i LOVE, despite it being 1.5 hours away! It really is awesome though! Jamon is almost done for the semester (WAWHOO!) but will be taking summer classes starting in about a month! I think that catches everything up!

Not much has happened since last post, Meaghan is having to work in Texas still, and Jamon is trying to finish off the semester. Molly is growing so fast she is crawling and climbing up on this and using the furniture to walk around. Molly got a puppy for Easter, Molly especially like to get in to her food bowl, and then molly doesn't like to share. We took some family pic before Blake, Meaghan's brother, goes away to college.

8 Months Old!

Miss Molly is now 8 months old! I can't believe how fast time has gone by! She is getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth - no crawling yet! She also got her second tooth in today! Mom had some flowers blooming in the back yard so I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures of Molly with the flowers!

Milk (and Molly's) Favorite Cookie!

Sunday afternoon, Mom gave Molly an Oreo and she LOVED IT!
It also happened to be a HUGE mess!

I still am amazed at how BLUE her eyes are!!! She was so happy with this cookie! Smiling and laughing if she took the oreo out! - only a few seconds though and she would pop it right back in!

And of course - she was so dirty we had to give her a sink bath!

Molly is such a happy and sweet girl! I can't believe how lucky we are to have such a laid back baby! Jamon and I love making her laugh, which is pretty easy!
She is getting close to crawling we think - getting up on her knees, but then falls back down! Ava even shared a sucker with her at church today! It was a family sucker I guess, From Heather's mouth, to Ava, to Molly, to Ava, to Molly, to Ava, and back to Heather! The people sitting around us must think we are some kind of weird!!!! (Mostly Jamon!)

Updated. . . . Finally!

Lots has been going on! Since Thanksgiving was the last post. . . I don't think I will try to go all the way back to Christmas. Just pick up right now!!!!

Last weekend we drove to Ben Wheeler to spend the weekend with Jamon's grandpa for his 90th birthday! So we drove over Friday night, and woke up and took him and Jamon's mom to breakfast on Saturday morning! They also had a party for him that afternoon!

This is Molly with her cousins, Megan and Alyssa, at Grandpa's party!
4 generations sitting outside of the Cracker Barrell!
Jamon and Molly at the party! I don't know why the camera started doing this! UGH!
I really kinda like this picture (even though Molly looks a little goofy!) even though the camera was still being dumb! Oh well though!

In other news, Molly got her first tooth on Valentines Day! I tried to take a picture of her gums, and that was all you can see - gums. So I guess you will just have to take my word for it!
