Snow Day!

We woke up to snow this morning! Admittedly, I hoped that winter decided to skip us for this year (no such luck I guess), but the kids were sooo excited
so we got all bundled up and headed outside!

David liked jumping in the snow!

Molly looking for some fresh snow to make snow angels in!

David headed back to the top of the hill with his Daddy

The kids LOVED the make-shift sledding! We never bought a real sled, because it never snowed (and well, we are poor med school people right now :) so we used this plastic-y mat thingy (ya know what I mean?) Anyways, it worked great. It was big enough for one parent and both kids to sit on; and went pretty fast!

Great start to 2012!

Ok so, no Christmas post! Lol, I will just say that it was fantastic and busy! AHND Jamon formatted our computer so all our pictures are on a DVD somewhere, and I don't feel like searching for it! :)

Anyways! January has been a lazy month for us! Getting back in to the swing of Jamon being away all the time and the kiddos back in their own environment. Its been nice!

Today is David's birthday!!! Since he doesn't know this (I'm just kidding here, Molly and I have been singing to him since he woke up this morning :) Well since he doesn't know that usually involves a party and Jamon has a long day today, we are postponing the festivities until this weekend! I MADE a pinata (which will probably be a one time craft ..... lol [Seriously though I was thinking "Oh I will save $15 dollars and it will be so awesome... blah blah blah. No. It took FOREVER. If I feel the need to get Molly a pinata I will most probably be buying one! ])

We did go to the zoo yesterday because the weather was b.e.a.utiful! It was perfect! There were very few people there and the animals where up and moving and fun! (Possibly a zoo trip first)

Theses guys ^^^^^^^ who are Kudu, were doing their manly Kudu thing and knocking horns and heads together which was fun to watch.

And there was a tiger who looked like he wanted to have us for lunch! :) He snuck up on us while our backs were turned to read a sign......

Anyways, great day and this is the only picture I took! Molly and David enjoying some fruit snacks in front of the Zebra habitat!
