We woke up to snow this morning! Admittedly, I hoped that winter decided to skip us for this year (no such luck I guess), but the kids were sooo excited
so we got all bundled up and headed outside!

The kids LOVED the make-shift sledding! We never bought a real sled, because it never snowed (and well, we are poor med school people right now :) so we used this plastic-y mat thingy (ya know what I mean?) Anyways, it worked great. It was big enough for one parent and both kids to sit on; and went pretty fast!

Glad you could have a day off even if it was accompanied by snow. All we've had ALL day is rain, rain, and MORE rain. It is super cold though.
Looks like fun...and LOTS of snow!
