We found a treasure last week :)
The biggest caterpillar I have ever seen! He was just crawling along in the middle of the road, so we scooped him up and let him spend the night in a pickle jar!
The kids thought he was fascinating! Which lead to his early "release" because little fingers wanted to pick him up!
It's hard to tell, but I would say he was 4 inches long and as big around as my thumb!

Ha ha Kaye, these MO bugs have nothing on LA ones! I haven't seen anything bigger than a bumblebee since we moved here! (and not a single cockroach - which is a miracle in and of itself! :)
This guy was crazy though, I have never seen a caterpillar that big!
